Supporting Multilingual Learners

Giving All Students a Voice in the Learning Journey

At MIND Education, we design our programs so every student can access rigorous math learning, regardless of language proficiency. Our visual-first, neuroscience-based approach removes language as a barrier from the start—so students don’t have to rely on translation or written instructions to learn.

When students learn through visual problem solving, they build deep understanding and confidence—on their terms, in their time. This empowers multilingual learners, emergent bilinguals, and students learning English to fully participate in math class and share their thinking, without being held back by language.

Because when students see the math, they can do the math.

Proven Results

Independent studies show significant gains for multilingual learners and emergent bilingual students using our programs—including improved outcomes on math assessments and increased engagement in mathematical discourse.

Our programs meet multiple ESSA Tier 2 and Tier 3 evidence standards and are used successfully in linguistically diverse classrooms nationwide.
