Amy Oelschlager
Director of Professional Learning
Amy Oelschlager is the Director of Professional Learning based in St. Paul, MN. She holds a Master’s degree in Instructional Technology and brings over a decade of experience in education as a classroom teacher, instructional coach, and district Personalized Learning Coordinator. In her role, Amy leads the strategy, design, and delivery of professional learning, ensuring cohesive, high-impact experiences for educators nationwide. She is passionate about building systems and developing teams that strengthen math instruction at scale.

ShaKeitha Green
Project Manager, Education Success
ShaKeitha Green is a Project Manager based in Los Angeles, CA. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Child Development and a Master’s degree in Technology-Based Education. She has experience supporting the implementation of instructional technology programs, including ST Math. ShaKeitha also served as an Education Success Manager at MIND Education, supporting schools and districts nationwide. In her current role, she supports professional learning delivery, contributes to conferences, and leads special projects. She is passionate about engaging educators and creating impactful learning experiences.

Vivian Doughty
Professional Learning Specialist
Vivian Doughty is a Professional Learning Specialist with MIND Research Institute based in Long Beach, CA. She supports schools and districts across California and beyond in implementing ST Math. Vivian has experience teaching in both public and private sectors, working with learners of all ages. She holds multiple degrees from California State University, Long Beach, along with a California teaching credential and ELA1 certification. Vivian brings creativity and dedication to delivering impactful professional learning experiences.

Professional Learning Specialist
Krista George is a Professional Learning Specialist based in Denver, CO. She holds a Master’s degree in Education and brings over a decade of classroom teaching experience across New York City, Chicago, Iowa, and Denver. She has also served as an instructional math coach, strengthening her focus on effective math instruction. Krista supports educators and leaders in implementing best practices through ST Math and is committed to helping students build confidence as problem solvers.

Jim deBerjeois is an Education Success Manager based in the Atlanta, GA area. He brings over 20 years of experience as a teacher and administrator across schools in New York, North Carolina, and Georgia. Prior to his current role, he served as an Education Success Manager at MIND, supporting the implementation of ST Math in schools and districts. He has extensive experience supporting educators nationwide and is dedicated to effective implementation of ST Math.

Hannarose Laidlaw
Professional Learning Operations Manager
Hannahrose Laidlaw is the Professional Learning Operations Manager at MIND Education, based in New York, NY. She holds a Master’s degree in Education and began her career as a Teach For America Corps Member in South Louisiana. She brings extensive experience as a classroom teacher, instructional coach, curriculum developer, and dean. In her current role, Hannahrose oversees the logistics and coordination of professional learning, ensuring each training is seamless and designed for high impact. She is passionate about supporting educators and strengthening the systems that make meaningful learning possible.

Professional Learning Specialist
Janna McIntyre is a Professional Learning Specialist based in Austin, TX. She earned her undergraduate degree in Asheville, NC and her Master’s in Education in Milwaukee, WI. Janna has experience as a classroom teacher, instructional coach, and elementary math lead. She is passionate about equity in education, conceptual understanding, and implementing research-based math practices, and supports districts across Texas in effective ST Math implementation.

Professional Learning Design Lead
Allison Ross is a Professional Learning Design Lead based in Fort Worth, TX. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Texas Christian University and a Master’s degree in Gifted Education from Hardin-Simmons University. Allison has extensive experience as an elementary teacher, middle school educator, and curriculum coordinator. She specializes in differentiation, project-based learning, and supporting gifted learners. She is passionate about helping educators foster confidence and engagement in mathematics.

David Whitby

David Whitby is a Professional Learning Designer for Online Learning based in Allentown, PA. He joined MIND after working as an elementary classroom teacher. David holds a Master’s degree in Instructional Technology and has served as a Technology Innovation Guide in his district. He is dedicated to exploring innovative teaching strategies and supporting educators in adopting new approaches to instruction.

Jason Cha is an Education Success Consultant based in Las Vegas, NV. He holds a degree from Bowdoin College and a Master’s in Education from Loyola Marymount University. Jason began his career as a software engineer before transitioning into teaching, where he taught writing, math, and science. He is passionate about education technology and innovative teaching practices and values the deep engagement students experience with ST Math.

Katherine Hamilton is an Education Success Consultant based in Los Angeles, CA. She holds a BA in Economics from Yale University and a Master’s in Education from Stanford University with a focus on math education. With over 15 years of experience, Katherine has served as a teacher, instructional coach, district administrator, and nonprofit executive. She is committed to making math accessible and engaging for all students, particularly multilingual learners and those with learning differences.

Shanna Henry, Ed.D.
Education Success Consultant
Shanna Henry is an Education Success Consultant based in Billings, MT. She holds a BA in Spanish, a Master’s in Deaf Education, and a Doctorate in Educational Leadership. With 42 years in education, she has served as a Teacher for the Deaf, principal, curriculum director, and special education director. She was involved in implementing ST Math in her district and is a strong advocate for its impact on student learning.

Collyn Lew is an Education Success Consultant based in Fort Worth, TX. She holds a degree in Multidisciplinary Studies (Math and Science 4–8) from Texas Tech University and a Master’s in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Texas at Arlington. Jamie Rynda is an Education Success Consultant based in Minneapolis, MN. She holds degrees in elementary and middle school education from the College of St. Benedict/St. John’s University and a Master’s in Educational Leadership from St. Mary’s University of Minnesota. Alicia Starrett is an Education Success Consultant based in Cypress, TX. She holds a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies (Grades 1–8) from Texas A&M University. Beloved ST Math Penguin
JiJi is the beloved penguin at the heart of ST Math, a curious, persistent problem-solver on a journey through mathematical challenges. Students help JiJi overcome obstacles by demonstrating understanding, building a connection between effort, insight, and success. When a concept clicks, JiJi crosses the screen, guiding students to the next challenge.
JiJi’s friendly, wordless presence helps students focus on visual problem solving and is intentionally open to interpretation, allowing them to imagine JiJi’s age, personality, and identity in ways that reflect their own learning journey.
