Dr. Anegela Schanke
Education Success Consultant
Dr. Angela Schanke is an Education Success Consultant based in Cheyenne, WY. She has experience teaching middle school mathematics and holds a Master’s degree focused on gamification in education. Her doctoral work in Mathematics Education explores productive failure, creativity, and self-efficacy. Angela is passionate about improving how students experience math and supports educators in implementing engaging instructional practices.
Collyn Lew
Education Success Consultant
Collyn Lew is an Education Success Consultant based in Fort Worth, TX. She holds a degree in Multidisciplinary Studies (Math and Science 4–8) from Texas Tech University and a Master’s in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Texas at Arlington. Collyn has experience teaching elementary grades and serving as a content facilitator. She is passionate about creating positive math experiences and supporting student growth through ST Math.

Jamie Rynda is an Education Success Consultant based in Minneapolis, MN. She holds degrees in elementary and middle school education from the College of St. Benedict/St. John’s University and a Master’s in Educational Leadership from St. Mary’s University of Minnesota. She brings extensive experience teaching math at the elementary and middle school levels. She is passionate about mathematics instruction, technology integration, and helping ALL students develop their confidence and joy in math.

Jason Cha is an Education Success Consultant based in Las Vegas, NV. He holds a degree from Bowdoin College and a Master’s in Education from Loyola Marymount University. Jason began his career as a software engineer before transitioning into teaching, where he taught writing, math, and science. He is passionate about education technology and innovative teaching practices and values the deep engagement students experience with ST Math.

Jim deBerjeois is an Education Success Manager based in the Atlanta, GA area. He brings over 20 years of experience as a teacher and administrator across schools in New York, North Carolina, and Georgia. Prior to his current role, he served as an Education Success Manager at MIND, supporting the implementation of ST Math in schools and districts. He has extensive experience supporting educators nationwide and is dedicated to effective implementation of ST Math.

Katherine Hamilton is an Education Success Consultant based in Los Angeles, CA. She holds a BA in Economics from Yale University and a Master’s in Education from Stanford University with a focus on math education. With over 15 years of experience, Katherine has served as a teacher, instructional coach, district administrator, and nonprofit executive. She is committed to making math accessible and engaging for all students, particularly multilingual learners and those with learning differences.

Shanna Henry is an Education Success Consultant based in Billings, MT. She holds a BA in Spanish, a Master’s in Deaf Education, and a Doctorate in Educational Leadership. With 42 years in education, she has served as a Teacher for the Deaf, principal, curriculum director, and special education director. She was involved in implementing ST Math in her district and is a strong advocate for its impact on student learning.
Alicia Starrett

Alicia Starrett is an Education Success Consultant based in Cypress, TX. She holds a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies (Grades 1–8) from Texas A&M University. She brings over two decades of experience in education, including roles as a classroom teacher, district instructional coach, professional development facilitator, and curriculum writer. In her prior district role, Alicia supported the implementation of ST Math and saw its impact on student confidence and achievement. She is committed to educational equity and passionate about helping all students develop a positive relationship with mathematics.

Megan Sment is an Education Success Consultant, and ST Math Coordinator for the Hueneme School District based in Oxnard, CA. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, a California Teaching Credential for Multiple Subjects, and a Master’s degree in Business Administration. She’s had over a decade of classroom teaching, team and school leadership, and teacher mentoring experience. In her current role she oversees the implementation and support of ST Math with the after school instructors in Hueneme. Additionally, she is an Education Success Consultant facilitating professional learning sessions for teachers who are utilizing ST Math in their classrooms. She is passionate about supporting teachers so they have positive math experiences.

She holds a Master’s degree in Education and brings over a decade of classroom teaching experience across New York City, Chicago, Iowa, and Denver. Krista supports educators and leaders in implementing best practices through ST Math and is committed to helping students build confidence as problem solvers.

Beloved ST Math Penguin
JiJi is the beloved penguin at the heart of ST Math, a curious, persistent problem-solver on a journey through mathematical challenges. Students help JiJi overcome obstacles by demonstrating understanding, building a connection between effort, insight, and success. When a concept clicks, JiJi crosses the screen, guiding students to the next challenge.
JiJi’s friendly, wordless presence helps students focus on visual problem solving and is intentionally open to interpretation, allowing them to imagine JiJi’s age, personality, and identity in ways that reflect their own learning journey.
